  • Complete Dentures

Complete dentures, commonly known as false teeth or full dentures, are used when all of the natural teeth are missing from either the top jaw, lower jaw, or both jaws. It is recommended to replace complete dentures every five years.

  • Partial Dentures

Partial dentures are a dental prosthesis used to replace one or more missing teeth. The artificial teeth are attached to a metal framework and secured in place by clasps, which are designed to fit onto adjacent natural teeth. It is usually recommended to replace partial dentures every 5 years for optimal dental health and functionality.

  • Implant Retained Dentures

Implant-retained dentures are secured to implants with attachments. They do not require adhesives to remain in place. They should be replaced every 5 years, with relining needed every 2 years.

  • Immediate | Surgical Dentures

Immediate dentures are created before the extraction of your teeth so that you are not without teeth after the procedure. This method supports the healing process following oral surgery. It is important to note that healing can take 9 to 12 months. For your best comfort, multiple follow-up visits are necessary for adjustments to accommodate changes from healing. After this healing period, a permanent reline is required to conclude the treatment.

  • Denture Relines

Over time, various factors such as weight loss, illness, or the natural aging process can contribute to the shrinkage of bones and gums, resulting in poorly fitting dentures. Relines are recommended every two to three years. Relining is a crucial process that helps ensure your dentures accurately conform to possible changes. By relining your dentures, they will fit better, improving their function.

  • Denture Repairs

Dentures can become damaged in several ways, the denture or denture teeth may chip, crack, or fracture. This can happen from accidental drops, biting down on hard foods like nuts and candies, teeth grinding, dogs chewing on them, or natural wear and tear. Denture repairs aim to restore damaged dentures as closely as possible to their original condition. They are typically done on an as-needed basis to maintain the quality and fit of your dentures. Repairs can often be completed on the same day.

Denture Care

Maintaining dental hygiene is crucial, and cleaning your dentures every day is an essential part of it.

  1. To begin with, rinse your dentures under running water to eliminate any leftover food particles or debris.

  2. After that, use a soft-bristled toothbrush or a moistened denture brush with denture cleaner to clean them thoroughly.

  3. Once done, rinse the dentures in clean water before placing them back in your mouth. Alternatively, soak them in warm water or denture cleaning solution overnight.

Additionally, clean and massage your gums with a soft-bristled toothbrush while your dentures are removed. This will help in maintaining overall dental health.
